In between sneezing and sniffing

SEMBREAK NA! (and I am sick sick sick but it's all gooooooood)

Wahahahahahahaha

The only thing preventing me from totally breaking out is the final paper for English that's due on Monday (total bummer. bleh). I almost forgot about that, after thinking of a gazillion things I want to do this Semestral break. For the most part of the break, I'd be stuck at home or at a friend's house, no school means no money but that should not stop me from having fun. I have had fun without spending money A LOT of times specially with my high school friends (MISS YOU GUYS! WE'LL BE SEEING EACH OTHER SOON)

(you can see from that all caps letters the intensity of how I long for them. Mwuhaha. EMO)

To save myself from boredom, I would want to make a schedule. But making a schedule and following a schedule makes me feel constrained and stuff, so I just made a mental list of the things that I want to do. And now, I'm writing it here. Weeeeeeee!

+ Watch as many movies as I can (on TV of course. Money, man)
+ Read as many books as I can (accompanying my sister if she has anything to buy from NBS and asking her to buy me one book everytime convincing her that it's a great book and she should read it too)
+ Learn as many piano pieces as I can
+ Play The Sims 2, as I have been deprived of it since day one in the Ateneo
+ Learn to play basketball or at least try
+ Meet old friends (sleepovers!)
+ Clean, clean, clean
+ Wash, wash, wash
+ Do that old Saturday mornings routine (15 minute-walk and badminton) with my Mama that was stopped because of Saturday areas for Tugon

I'd be adding more to that.

So far my first two days on vacation went like this:

On the keyboard I started deciphering the keys to Pachebel's "Canon", thanks to the trusty Musical Information System Screen on the middle. haha. I've already managed to play the first 36 four counts...something...I already forgot about time signatures. I'm almost done...Almost.

I've already watched 2 movies. The first one was "Boys Don't Cry". Boy, talk about disturbing and heart-breaking at the same time. The hell, it was a true story. I liked it, but not the sort of movie I'd want to watch again and again. Hilary Swank was THE best (duh best actress Oscars, Golden Globe and BAFTA for that movie..imagine that!). I could've sworn she was a guy. I never thought I'd cry watching this movie, but I did. ='''(

The next morning I caught "Aquamarine" on Star Movies. Hey, I like Emma Roberts and Jojo. Sara Paxton's purdy. I thought at first it was not so good, but it was ok, after all it is for tweeners. And again, I cried. Haha.

On Love:
Hailey: And I know there's a reason why everybody wants it so much.
Aquamarine: And what's that?
Hailey: It's the closest thing we have to magic.

While watching "Aquamarine" I again exercised my multi-tasking skills by organizing my "study table" and uncluttering it by gathering all the papers from the first semester in school.

Later on that day, we went to the mall to have our hair cut but being the fickle-minded people that we are, my sister and I decided we won't anymore so we just went to National Bookstore. Woohoo! My plan's on its completion. Haha. I browsed through the books and I read the first page of "The Catcher in the Rye", it was good, I wanted to read on. So I asked Ate to buy it for me. I'm currently on the twelfth page.

Life is goooood.
